The terms that govern a Bourn Media engagement — what we deliver, who owns what, how payment works, and how either side can end the relationship.
Scope of Services
Bourn Media runs the Launch Engine — community seeding, creator activation, paid acquisition, and post-launch momentum engineering — for gaming studios. Engagement models — Launch Sprint, Launch Retainer, Solo Activation, Full Funnel, Active Season, Sustained Live Ops, Community Steward, and Multi-Channel Community — are scoped on a strategy call. Pricing varies by scope, genre, and channel mix; ranges shown on the site are starting points and final pricing is set during strategy-call scoping.
IP Ownership
The client retains all rights to their game, brand, game-related creative assets (trailers, screenshots, copy, lore), and any player data generated through the engagement. Bourn Media retains rights to its methodology, frameworks, channel playbooks, and reusable launch-engine assets.
Deliverables produced during the engagement — content drafts, creator briefs, community plans, performance reports, post-launch recap docs — are licensed to the client for use on an unlimited, perpetual basis once full payment is received.
Payment Terms
Sprint engagements (Launch Sprint, Solo Activation): 50% deposit due on engagement signature; 50% balance due on launch-week completion.
Retainer engagements (Launch Retainer, Sustained Live Ops, Community Steward, Multi-Channel Community): billed monthly in advance, with the first month prorated against engagement signature. Net-15 invoicing applies to all engagements.
Pricing snapshots referenced on the site are starting ranges and are superseded by the strategy-call proposal for any engagement.
Liability Disclaimer
Bourn Media services are advisory and execution. We operate the Launch Engine to maximize the visibility and traction of a launch, but we do not guarantee specific view counts, wishlist additions, revenue outcomes, review velocity, or sustained community size. Aggregate benchmark stats referenced in marketing materials are illustrative averages across our engagement history and are not promissory for any individual engagement.
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days' written notice. Work-in-progress deliverables are paid through the termination date. Retainer engagements terminate at the end of the current paid period; no early-termination refund applies to retainers.
Governing Law & Contact
